Can CTLA-4 work outside of draining lymph nodes?

Our sample comes from the tumor, not the draining lymph node (where the primary interaction for CTLA-4 takes place). Jenkins et al is a paper from the David Barbie lab at Harvard, 2017, in which they showed an approach similar to ours that accurately measured CTLA-4 monotherapy response. We will soon have internal data to show that we are able to see a cytokine response from CTLA-4 monotherapy. Some papers have shown that there are non-professional antigen-presenting cells which interact with CTLA-4 outside of the draining lymph node.
