1. We check for viability today with a CCK8 assay. 2. As part of our quality control mechanism, we thoroughly analyze cytokine responses for the magnitude of cytokine production, and if there is not enough absolute production at baseline, we do not use the sample, as it implies low viability of relevant tissues.
