Isn't it difficult for an IR to not use formalin?

While this is different from standard of care (typically biopsies are placed into formalin immediately following removal), we have done this at over 20 hospital systems across the US, received over 600 samples, and not a single time has there been a mistake where a sample was placed into formalin. We also have not heard any complaints from radiology teams or others taking the samples. This has been a non-issue thus far.
