vs IPS Tempus?

The elive Test and Tempus Immune Profiling System (IPS) address different aspects of immunotherapy response prediction. Tempus IPS is a molecular profiling assay that integrates RNA sequencing and bioinformatics to infer immune activity from static gene expression signatures, such as Interferon-? and T-cellinflamed pathways. It captures the transcriptional state of the tumor at a single time point but does not directly measure functional immune activity or cytokine signaling in live tissue. In contrast, the elive Test provides a functional, dynamic assessment of immune response. It uses fresh core needle biopsy fragments embedded in the elive Gel to preserve the native tumor microenvironment (TME). By treating the intact tissue with immunotherapies ex vivo, Elephas measures real-time cytokine and chemokine secretion (e.g., IFN-?, CXCL9, CXCL10, and others), reflecting active immunetumor interactions rather than inferred transcriptomic activity. Thus, while Tempus IPS offers a genomic snapshot of immune-related gene expression, Elephas provides a direct, functional readout of immune activation within the preserved TME.
